All Accused Acquitted In Mecca Masjid Blasts Case

All Accused Acquitted In Mecca Masjid Blasts Case:- All eyes have been focused on the Mecca Masjid blasts case and a special NIA Court in Hyderabad revealed the decision. The special NIA court announced that all the ten accused acquitted in this case. Ten persons, all members of Abhinav Bharat, including Nabakumar Sirkar alias Swami Aseemanand, Devender Gupta, Lokesh Sharma alias Ajay Tiwari, Lakshman Das Maharaj, Mohanlal Rateshwar and Rajender Chowdhary have been named accused in this case.

Ramchandra Kalsangra and Sandeep Dange have been absconding from years and RSS functionary, Sunil Joshi was shot during the investigation. The pipe bomb in Mecca Masjid left eight killed and 58 others injured on May 18th 2007. After a thorough investigation, the case has been transferred to the CBI. NIA took over the probe in 2011 and 226 witnesses have been examined and 411 documents have been exhibited. The Special NIA court announced them acquitted after the prosecution failed to produce the proofs.
