Blackbuck Case: Salman Sentenced Five-Year Jail

Blackbuck Case: Salman Sentenced Five-Year Jail:- Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan received a huge shock after he has been announced convicted in 1998 blackbuck poaching case. His other fellow actors Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam Kothari have been acquitted. Salman Khan has been accused of killing two blackbucks in Bhagoda ki Dhani in Kankani village near Jodhpur. The incident took place on October 1st 1998 while the actor along with his team have been shooting for Hum Saath Saath Hain.

The actor has been sentenced five-year jail and a fine of Rs 10000 has been imposed. Salman has been convicted under section 51 and the maximum punishment is expected to be six years. The actor will be taken straight to Jodhpur Central Jail. The actor is expected to apply for bail soon.

Salman Khan has been taken into custody and the warrant is being prepared. He will be sent to baarrack number 1 in Jodhpur Central Jail. Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan Sharma and Alvira Agnihotri broke down after hearing the verdict. Salman has been spotted strong consoling them.
