TTV Dhinakaran Floats His Own Political Party:- AIADMK rebel leader TTV Dhinakaran has been away from the party activities and has been criticising the leaders after the sudden demise of Jayalalithaa. With Sasikala ending up in jail, TTV Dhinakaran had no prominence in the party and he decided to float his own political party. TTV Dhinakaran named it after former chief minister J Jayalalithaa. The party has been named Amma Makkal Munetra Kazhagam. TTV Dhinakaran announced his party through a event.

TTV Dhinakaran recently won with huge majority in RK Nagar by-polls. He called that his party as Amma People's Development Party. The flag of Amma Makkal Munetra Kazhagam has been unveiled by TTV Dhinakaran which features Dravidian colours of Red, black and white with Jaya's idol in the centre. TTV said that people are well aware of the happenings in the state after the demise of Jayalalithaa. The party symbol for Amma Makkal Munetra Kazhagam is pressure cooker.
