Encounter In Chhattisgarh: 12 Maoists Killed

Encounter In Chhattisgarh: 12 Maoists Killed:- Atleast 12 Maoists have been killed in an encounter across the Telangana - Chhattisgarh border that took place during the early hours of Friday. The joint patrolling teaming conducted the operation and the spotted Maoists were shot dead. Top Maoists Hari Bhushan, Damodar and Lakshmanna have been killed in this encounter. Damoder was heading the special zone of Northern Telangana. The encounter took place near Pujari Kankar and their bodies have been shifted to Bhadrachalam hospital. Among the killed 12, six of them were women confirmed the cops.

Two choppers have been sent to shift the bodies and the special combing operation started three days ago.  Joint team of anti-Naxal Greyhounds from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and special police personnel from Odisha, Chattisgarh and Maharashtra conducted the operation. The encounter took place at 6.30 AM. An injured Greyhounds constable has been airlifted to a city hospital in a chopper. Revolutionary Writers Association member Varavara Rao called it a fake encounter and police murdered them revealed Varavara Rao.
