India's Second Rainwater Harvesting Park In Hyderabad:- India's second rainwater harvesting park is in plans in Hyderabad. Large portion of Butterfly Park and Kamalapuri Colony from Jubilee Hills road no 26 have been locked to establish the theme park. These parks are under the maintenance of Greter Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). The first rainwater harvesting park was established in Bengaluru in March 2011 by Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage (BWSSB).

As a part of Jalam - Jeeevam, the Telangana government proposed the theme park. This will even promote Rainwater Harvesting pits in the state. This will even bring awareness among the people regarding the saving of rainwater. GHMC and Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMW&SB) will take a joint initiative to develop this park. The park has been spread across 1.5 acres which consists of central gallery, water gallery along with a sewage gallery.
