How A Small Village In West Godavari Turned Out To Be An Inspiration For The State:- Rapaka, a small village from Iragavaram mandal, West Godavari was just like any other village in Andhra until a few years ago. Now the village is well developed and improved beyond ones imagination. The development activities had been initiated four years ago and Rapaka is now an inspiration for many villages. Brindavanam family's tremendous contribution along with the support of the villagers made all the basic needs accessible. Sarpanch Brindavanam Ratnamanikyam laid a foundation stone for the development of the village with a financial backing by the Brindavanam family.

Funds have been allotted and the villagers personally participated in the activities which changed the entire picture of the village. Infrastructure development, roads, underground drainage system, solar power units along with the cleanliness activities made Rapaka a remarkable example for other villages. Hundreds of trees have been planted in the village and with no bank facility, bank official has been asked to come to the village to collect the funds and get them deposited in their respective bank accounts. With Aadhar linked bank accounts, the villagers can now withdraw funds directly from the bank official at their doorstep. Over 1000 villagers have been trained specially through 'Samikrutha Naipunya Abhivrudhi Padhakam' which have been providing employment opportunities for financial stability.

All the neighbouring villages have been surprised with the development of Rapaka. With vast development, Rapaka is now an exemplary model for all villages in the state.
