Hyderabad Old City To Get Two New Flyovers:- Hyderabad has been turning out a messy city and despite of various mediums of travel, the traffic during the wee hours has been hectic. Old city people have been struggling because of the narrow roads. Now Telangana government is focussed on Hyderabad old city and to keep things under streamline and ensure a smooth vehicular movement, Telangana government decided to construct two new flyovers in the region. The first flyover will connect from Aramgarh to Zoo Park and the second from Nalgonda crossroads to Owaisi junction.

Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP) will be implemented which fall under high traffic zone category. Despite of several pleas, the old city residents could not get rid of the traffic. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is conducting a study through consultants about the conditions of the traffic and the possible stretches. With lot of religious structures located around, it is quite challenging for the flyovers to be erected in the region. The estimated budget of the project is said to be Rs 523 crores.
