Hyderabad Metro Delay Costs Rs 4700 Cr:- The prestigious Hyderabad Metro project has been initially planned for a grand launch in April 2016 and it has been delayed by over a year and half. Finally, Hyderabad Metro is all set for launch on November 28th and will be flagged off by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Hyderabad Metro has been stretched across 72 kms and will have 66 stations.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) built this prestigious project and the estimated budget has been Rs 14,100 crores. However with a delay of one and half year, the budget went on high by Rs 4700 crores. The estimated budget now reached Rs 18.800 crores. Telangana Urban Development Minister KTR confirmed that the budget went overboard but did not reveal out the figure. The first phase is completed and the other two are yet to be completed.
