Centre Likely To Bring Bill On Delimitation Of Assembly Segments : KCR: The possibility of the Central Government clearing the pending delimitation of Assembly segments in the Telugu states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh was hinted again by Chief Minister and TRS Legislature Party leader K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday.

After meeting the Prime Minister in Delhi, Mr. KCR told news persons that the Centre is not in favor of increasing the Assembly seats in both the states.

However, KCR in the TRS Legislature Party meeting on Thursday said, that he had the latest information from Delhi. And as per the new information, delimitation may take place and the Centre is going to introduce a bill to this effect.

The MLA aspirants in another 34 Assembly segments can be accommodated by the CM, in the next elections, if delimitation takes place. As he has decided to announce the candidates list three months prior to the next election, those wanting to contest should not hang around him hoping to get a ticket, said KCR.
