T-TDP Leaders Ask Naidu To Take Action Against Revanth Reddy:- The TDP supremo, N. Chandrababu Naidu was asked today by the party’s Telangana unit, to take action against its working President and MLA, A Revanth Reddy. It is well known to everybody that Revanth Reddy is allegedly making moves to switch over to the Congress.

A “final report” has been submitted to Naidu, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh on the issue of Reddy, said TDP Telangana president L Ramana. “T (Telangana) TDP would suffer if Revanth Reddy, who is moving closely with Congress’ top leaders, continued as T.TDP’s Working President and T.TDPLP (legislature party) leader,” Ramana said in a statement here in Hyderabad. Currently, Naidu is abroad on an official visit.

Reddy as TDP Telangana working president and party’s floor leader in the legislative assembly, has been directed not to take up any programmes, said Ramana. The Telangana unit of TDP has been hit by reports of Reddy meeting Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi as part of his plans to switch over to the party. Reddy did meet Gandhi, claimed Congress leaders like former MP V Hanumantha Rao. However, the reports were condemned by Reddy. But, yesterday, Ramana said, there is no clarity in the remarks.

Ramana had said that legal notices should be issued to Congress leaders, as their comments hurt him and also the party. To discuss the legislature session, the TDP and its NDA ally BJP’s leaders would meet tomorrow, said Ramana. The legislature session is scheduled to start from October 27.
