Andhra Cop Pleads Before Traffic Violator; Pic Goes Viral:- Issuing challans to errant 2-wheeler, 4-wheeler drivers by the traffic policemen is a common scene. However, a policeman in Andhra Pradesh’s Anantapur district is getting famous for doing something unexpected.

A programme on road safety awareness was being conducted by Circle Inspector B Shubh Kumar of Anantapur’s Madakasira Circle and that is when he saw a man without the helmet on his motorcycle with four others as riding pillion.

The traffic violator was identified as K Hanumantharayudu, as in the past also he had warned him for flouting road safety rules. This time he was riding his motorcycle with two of his sons sitting on the fuel tank and his wife and a female relative behind him.

Shubh Kumar stopped him and what he did next was quite surprising. Kumar stood in front of K Hanumantharayudu’s motorbike, with folded hands, and pleaded with him to start following traffic rules.

Meanwhile, a photo of this moment was clicked by someone and uploaded it on social media. Now, it is viral. Shubh Kumar said that his mind went blank when he saw the five of them riding so dangerously.

“All I could do was fold my hands in total resignation, helplessness and frustration. I asked him to think of the safety of his family as he did not have a minimum sense of responsibility towards them. As the two kids were sitting on the fuel tank, he had little room to manoeuvre because their legs were stuck to the handlebar. Accidents happen like that only. When I confronted him, he just smiled back at me and murmured something,” Shubh Kumar said as reported by a leading news channel.

According to Kumar, Hanumantharayudu was totally unconcerned about the danger. Neither he nor were the others he was riding with wearing helmets, when he was stopped by the police.
