3 J&K Students Arrested In Hyd For Not Standing During National Anthem:- In a bizarre incident, three young men from Jammu and Kashmir have been arrested by the Hyderabad Police. The police have arrested them for not standing up when the National Anthem was played before the screening of a Hindi movie at a cinema hall on Saturday.

However, the three students, Jameel Gul, Omer Faiz Luney and Mudassir Shabbir, from Baramulla in J&K have apparently denied the charges. They are currently pursuing engineering at a college in Chevella.

According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Shamshabad Zone, P.V. Padmaja, the three youngsters were at the CinePolis: Mantra mall to watch the Hindi movie Bareilly Ki Barfi at 3.50 pm show.

As mandated by the Supreme Court, the National Anthem was played before the beginning of the show. Later, in the evening, the Rajendranagar police received a complaint from the management. Under Section 2 of the Prevention of Insult to National Honor Act, a case was registered against the three men.
