NIA Conducts Searches At 12 Locations In J&K : Terror Funding Case: In connection with the terror funding case against separatists and others, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has conducted raids on Wednesday, at about 12 locations in Jammu and Kashmir.

The searches are being carried out at 12 locations in Srinagar, Baramulla and Handwara, said the officials in the central probe agency. According to the officials, they said those being searched on Wednesday have alleged links to people being investigated in this case.

On July 24, seven individuals were arrested by the NIA in the case, of alleged funding of terror and subversive activities in the Kashmir Valley to fuel unrest. The NIA had alleged that the money was being raised to fund separatist and terror activities in Jammu and Kashmir. The accused were waging war against the country and were involved in various offences punishable under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, claimed the agency.

The accused were involved in creating unrest by way of anti-India demonstrations and bandhs, also alleged the agency.
