YSRCP MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy Arrested; Released On Bail:- For questioning the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) officials, Congress Party (YSRCP) MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy was arrested on Thursday.

It may be recalled that the Mangalagiri MLA pressed upon the CRDA officials to note down the minutes of the meeting that was called in Penumaka village. The meeting was called to gather public opinion on additional land pooling. Besides rejecting the request, the officials also filed a case against the MLA.

Apart from Ramakrishna Reddy, cases were filed against 14 others for the Penumaka incident while 10 arrests were made so far. However, the legislator was released later on “station bail”.

Ramakrishna soon after the release, spoke to the media and said that on instructions from AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, false cases were imposed against him.

“The chief minister is going ahead with land acquisition and capital city construction with utter disregard for the Land Pooling Act and the orders of the High Court,” he said.
