YS Jagan Visits Uddanam Kidney Chronic Victims

YSRCP president and Leader of the Opposition in AP Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has visited the people of Uddanam village in Srikakulam district, who have been suffering from chronic kidney ailments.

This is part of YS Jagan’s two-day visit to Srikakulam. Several people in the village are suffering from kidney ailments and the present government has not done much to alleviate the lot of the people. The people of the village poured out their woes before YS Jagan.

For undergoing dialysis every month, most of the patients are forced to shell out between Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000. The people told YS Jagan that they are not getting any support from the government. Though the Government has promised to set up a research centre at the village, it still remained at best as a dream. As a result, the villagers are forced to travel to either Srikakulam or Visakhapatnam to undergo dialysis.
