The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), today has inaugurated two more Annapurna centers in Hyderabad.
The total number of these centers in the city, are 128 till now, which offer a meal of around Rs.5.
MLA, G. Kishan Reddy, inaugurated at Amberpet Ali Cafe, whereas Deputy Mayor, Baba Fasiuddin, inaugurated at Kachiguda Chappal Bazar.
Mr. Fasiuddin said, nearly 35,000 individuals every day are getting the subsidized meal as part of one of its kind programme.
This programme is taken up by a civic body in the country.
The civic body has been making arrangements, following instructions of the Telangana Chief Minister, K. Chandrashekhar Rao.
KCR has instructed the civic body, on increasing the number of Rs.5 meal centers from 50 to 150, according to a press release.
