Ayutha Chandi Yagam attracts huge crowd on third day

Ayutha Chandi Yagam has attracted lakhs of devotees on the third day, Friday, compared to initial two days. The queue line of devotees at the event was over two kilo meters. It is stated that over one lakh devotees arrived at Yaga Sthali from far off places like Warangal to witness Yagnam.

On the third of Ayuta Chandi Yagam, Raja Shyamala Homam was performed by Chief Minster Chandrasskhar Rao and his wife Shobha. According to the Sringeri Peetham fixed norms, all the Ruthvijas wore white dhoti and kanduva. At Chaturveda Parayana Yagasala and Raya Shyamala Yagasala, Poornahuthi was held.

The Telangana Chief Minister Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao performed Gau pooja. The CM entered the yaga shala along with his wife Shobha at 8.20 a.m. Devotees started arriving the event from 7AM after guru pooja and it continued till late in the evening.

Madhavananda Swami of Toguta Peetham and Thridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, Swamy Paripoornananda of Sri Peetham at Kakinada arrived at the Yaga Sthali, took part in rituals and blessed Mr. Rao. Earlier, Poornakumbha was offered.

Other important guests who took part in the yagman include Maharashtra Governor Ch. Vidyasagar Rao Telangana Legislative Council Chairman K. Swami Goud, Andhra, AP Assembly Speaker Kodela Shiva Prasad, Pradesh Legislative Council Chairman Chakrapani, media houses heads – V. Radha Krishna, Shailaja Kiran, Goutam Sanghi, and Girish Sanghi.
