Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav landed in piracy controversy when made a statement that he downloaded Aamir Khan's 'PK' movie. This ignited the piracy issue and many twitter users are lashing out at Akhilesh for misusing his power being in the top chair of a state.
As the issue was turning big, the Chief Minister's Office released a statement clarifying that Aamir downloaded 'PK' movie with authorised downloading facility. People who have personal theatre with the UFO satellite and software installed in their homes, can access to screening of the films. Sachin Tendulkar, Shah Rukh Khan and Uttar Pradesh CM's Office also have the facility and last week, Akhilesh sought a request from the makers and that is how he watched the movie.
Despite the controversy, 'PK' is continuing to mint money at box office. The movie became the highest grossing film of all time in India which collected Rs 276 crores in two weeks of its release. In fact, the controversy is helping the movie as the audience what to know what illicit content is in the film that really disturbed the religious groups.
'PK' has Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjay Dutt in main leads while Rajkumar Hirani directed it.
