Future of air travel: Windowless

An air traveler loves to sit beside the window in a plane and look at the cloud to enjoy the beauty while the rest of them would just have a look from far. But soon, every air travel might get a complete view of the sky which will eventually make ones journey a wonderful experience.

A U.K.-based Centre for Process Innovation [CPI] has come up with an exceptional innovation which can change the dimensions of planes and this will lead to a new revolution. The traditional airplane window with a floor-to-ceiling livestream of the outside world, fed by cameras mounted on the outside of the jet can be replaced by an ultra-thin, lightweight, and flexible Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) display screen.

This technology could also help an aircraft in many ways such as increase the cabin space, less fuel consumption and lower emissions. However, the spokesperson of CPI said, this technology might take another 10 years to bring to the next generation of commercial aircraft.
