Baby stealers nabbed

A new born boy child was kidnapped from Gandhi Hospital, Secunderabad on Sunday but traced by the police like in a action movie but with a happy ending.  The Chilakalaguda police traced the kidnapper with the help of CC Cameras in the Railway Station.  They found out that the kidnapper boarded Janmabhoomi Express.  They alerted Railway police who promptly acted upon it and nabbed the culprit at Tenali Railway Station.

The baby’s parents are Y.Sumitra (29) and Manohar who reside at Borabanda, Hyderabad.  Sumitra gave birth to a boy.  In the meanwhile a lady who introduced herself as Bujji made friendly approaches like buying medicines and other sundry things and took the child with the pretext of consulting the doctor concerned but not to return.

The couple approached Chilakalaguda Police Station from where they received instant response and prompt action to nail the culprit.   The child’s health is in good condition as it has been taken care at Tenali with required nourishment.

It proves that if Police are given free hand without any pressures or pre-conditions, they can discharge their duties well and serve people better.  But in most of the cases police stations are lacking adequate personnel due to bandobasts and disturbances.  It happened with a happy ending because there was no bundhs or special duties to the police on that day and political involvement is missing in the case.
