Like options in the objective test like A..,B..,C..,d.. and E none of the above, now voters are given a choice- None of the above to reject all the contestants in the elections.  Accordingly the AVMs are also getting reprogrammed as the Supreme Court of India's judgment made it compulsory.   

The Chief Electoral officer Bhanwarlal said at Visakhapatnam that the voters need not keep away from franchising their vote because of the reason that they do not like any of the contestants to represent them.  The meeting was attended by the students and businessmen of Visakhapatnam.

In order to increase the voters turn out Bhanwarlal made arrangements to distribute slips voter and booth details to the voters few days before the elections.  

At the same time Bhanwarlal also emphasized on the correctness of the voter list.  He said that the on line enrolments ensures correctness of the names and addresses as they will be filled by the voter.  Bhanwarlal also requested the family members to help in making the list of voters accurate by informing of the deletions either due to death or immigration to other countries.  

Above all, Bhanwarlal said, Election is an important part of the democracy and it makes it important that the voters should go to voting booths, patiently wait for their turn to franchise their vote and be part of the democratic process.
