Ramanthapur Corporator Yamajala Sridhara Reddy who was called  Uppal YSR, committed suicide by consuming poison in the early hours today.  

He was rushed to Matrix hospital by his family members when he was found unconscious.  He died by the time he was taken to the hospital.

Sridhara Reddy was the main accused in the murder case Jagadiswara Reddy.  But in spite it he held his leadership and good will in the locality.  Two weeks ago he was arrested for the murder attempt made by him on his brother Parameshwara Reddy who is a corporator of Ramanthapur.

Police did not get any clue for the extreme step taken by Sridhara Reddy as no suicide note was found in the house.
