Burglars struck at a retired government employee's house in Kukatpally Housing Board Colony Phase-V and a retired FCI accountant,,Kukatpally gold crime,Burglary at Kukatpally,gold ornaments looteddecamped with 40 tolas of gold ornaments. The burglary came to light on Saturday evening.

According to KPHB inspector N Narsimha Reddy, George Leolord, a retired FCI accountant, is a resident of KPHB Colony Phase-V. George's wife also works for FCI as a manager. George along with his wife left for their native place on Tuesday. Their neighbours informed the family about the burglary. The burglars gained entry into the house by breaking the main door lock and escaped with gold ornaments placed in an almirah of the bedroom.

On Saturday evening, George returned to the city and lodged a complaint with the police stating that eight necklaces and two chains, all weighing about 40 tolas, were missing from the house. Police have registered a case under section 379 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
