No Funds for Capital Construction in Amaravati:- After YSRCP took charge in Andhra Pradesh, the capital construction works in Amaravati slowed down. Though the AP Government was badly criticized, YSRCP did not put any efforts about capital construction. Now the state's Finance Minister Buggana Rajedranath Reddy clarified that the state government has no funds for the construction of the capital, Amaravati. Speaking to a Singapore based news daily 'The Straits Times', Rajedranath Reddy made these sensational comments. He said that the government is in plans to develop all the regions and districts instead of investing big on Amaravati.

"Instead of development restricted to a single city, AP Government is in plans to develop the entire state. We have been in search for investments to develop the state and create employment opportunities. It takes some time to finalize things. YS Jaganmohan Reddy along with the officials have been conducting meetings on a regular basis about the state's development. Several airports, seaports are planned in the state. A committee is formed which is working on several plan" said Rajedranath Reddy during his interview.

Rajedranath Reddy also clarified that AP Government is the sole decision-maker in deciding the capital region of Andhra Pradesh.
