European Parliament Supports Scrapping Article 370: Says it Will Curb Terrorism:- The abrogation of Article 370 will help the country curb terrorism said a member of the European Parliament. It will help in rooting out several terror organizations operating in Kashmir said the MP. MEP Tomas Zdechovsky said this through an article that is published in the European Parliament's monthly newspaper EP Today. Tomas Zdechovsky said that several terrorist organizations have been spreading violence in the Kashmir valley and Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK). Tomas Zdechovsky even said that several innocents lost their lives due to the brutal attacks.

All these armed forces are targetting people associated with the political organizations in Jammu and Kashmir. These armed groups also threatened Kashmiris who attempted to participate in the polls and warned them of the consequences. Some of them are warned to withdraw their nominations and apologize for taking such steps. The number of attacks are highest in 2018 in Jammu and Kashmir said Tomas Zdechovsky. Several Pak based armed groups are operating in Kashmir region and they have been publicly threatening the people and political workers.

In a brutal attack on August 2nd, an unknown armed group burned 12 schools in Gilgit-Baltistan's Daimer district. The whole world is aware of the Pulwama attacks which killed over 50 Indian Army soldiers. Pakistan's endorsed engagement and support of state-sponsored terrorism have also been confirmed by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).

FATF happens to be an inter-government organization which monitors terrorist financing and money laundering. Pakistan never demonstrated a proper understanding about the risks posed by Da'esh, al-Qaeda, Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD), Falah-i-Insaniyat Foundation (FIF), Lashkar-e -Tayyiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Haqqani Network (HQN). FATF urged Pakistan to address about the organizations and the action initiated.

Some of the armed groups have been recruiting child soldiers from Kashmir. Tomas Zdechovsky said that Modi's decision of revoking Article 370 was opposed by many but most of them failed to understand the real motive. "The removal, temporarily or permanently of these articles, should be seen as a global stance against terrorist activities, where today terrorists exploit the principles of democracy, freedom of speech and human rights practised by the majority, whilst at the same time imposing fear, violence and killings as justification for their causes," said Tomas Zdechovsky.

Revoking Article 370 will provide immediate justification to the actions said Tomas Zdechovsky. He concluded saying that Jammu and Kashmir can be ensured free and fair elections and the state can fight against terrorism providing security for the people concluded.
