Last Bid to Save Govt: Congress and JDS Offer for Rebels:- Karnataka political circles witnessed some thrilling incidents in the last couple of days. After a smooth governance by JDS and Congress, a bunch of rebels threatened to walk out. Ten Congress and three JDS MLAs resigned recently. In a last-ditch to save the government, Congress and JDS kept all their efforts. Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy returned back to Bengaluru last evening from his personal trip to USA. He called for an emergency cabinet meeting this morning.

There are talks that some of the ministers will be asked to resign and some of the rebels will get a chance to take over the positions. Water resources minister and Congress strongman DK Shivakumar declared himself that he is ready to submit his resignation for the party and offer the ministry to anyone. Ten MLAs flew to a luxury hotel in Mumbai from Saturday evening. There are talks that all the 13 MLAs will join BJP. Several crucial meetings will be held in the next couple of days. Speaker KR Ramesh will take a call on the resignation of MLAs tomorrow.
