Megastar Rejects BJP's Proposal:- Megastar Chiranjeevi is unavailable and inactive in politics from the past few years. His Rajya Sabha tenure too came to an end and Megastar did not even renew his Congress membership. He made it clear that he would focus on films rather than on politics. Chiranjeevi decided to stay away for campaigning for Congress in the recent polls. After forming the government at the Centre, BJP shifted their focus on Telugu states and turn strong for the next polls.

Senior leaders Ram Madhav and Kanna Lakshmi Narayana met Megastar to convince him to join BJP. There are talks that Chiranjeevi will be announced as the Chief Minister candidate from BJP in 2024 polls. The latest update we hear is that Megastar straightaway rejected the proposal and clarified that he is not in a mood to make his re-entry into politics. Despite of offering the position of Chief Minister if BJP gets to power, Chiranjeevi showed no interest. BJP is in plans to get some prominent leaders on board to get good mileage in the next polls in AP and Telangana.
