Andhra Student Arrested for Derogatory Comments on KCR:- A student from Andhra Pradesh has been arrested on Wednesday who made derogatory comments on Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao through a TikTok video. Telangana Government took things seriously and arrested him. 20-year-old Thagaram Naveen who is a native of Krishna district's Tiruvuru has been arrested yesterday. He was charged under section 153 of Indian Penal Code and section 67 of IT Act for promoting enmity. Thagaram Naveen's two smartphones has been seized.

Thagaram Naveen made a video using derogatory language against the Telangana Chief Minister said Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat. The video went viral after it was uploaded on social media on April 14th. V Ram Narasimha Goud, the president of the student's wing of Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) filed a complaint with the Cyber Crimes Wing of Rachakonda police station after which Thagaram Naveen has been nabbed. AP Government is yet to respond on the arrest of Thagaram Naveen. Earlier, couple of similar incidents took place and the Telangana cops arrested two youth who criticized Telangana Chief Minister KCR.
