ISIS Claims Responsible for Sri Lanka Blasts:- The deadly bomb attacks in Sri Lanka killed over 300 people and close to 600 people got injured. The ISIS claimed responsibility for the deadly attacks on Easter Sunday. ISIS official released a statement through the encrypted messaging app Telegram saying that the suicide bombers belonged to the fighters of the Islamic State. However, they did not provide any evidences to prove that they are behind the devastating attack. Soon, an unconfirmed video has been posted across the circles of social media which showed the photographs of three alleged suicide bombers.

ISIS later also released the photos of eight people who are behind the series of bomb attacks in Sri Lanka. US Intelligence confirmed that Sri Lankan group carried the attacks with the support of ISIS. The number of arrested in relation with this case crossed 40. Eight powerful blasts were carried in and around Colombo in which number of foreign tourists lost their lives. This was named as the most devastating attack in the history of Sri Lanka. The blasts targeted St Anthony's Church in Colombo, St Sebastian's Church in the western coastal town of Negombo and another church in the eastern town of Batticaloa along with star hotels in Colombo.
