PVP Joins YSRCP: In Race For Vijayawada Parliament:- Prominent businessman, entrepreneur and philanthropist Prasad V Potluri is a known face across the Telugu states. He has been making waves in politics from some time but he was waiting to make his full-time entry into politics. After a series of meetings, he joined YSRCP in the presence of the party Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy today in his Lotus Pond residence, Hyderabad. YS Jagan welcomed PVP into the party.

There are strong talks that PVP has been promised Vijayawada MP ticket from YSRCP after which he joined the party. Though Dasari Jai Ramesh was in the race, he later deferred after which PVP's name has been presented. PVP will spend busy time in the coming weeks and will be campaigning across Vijayawada. The Assembly and Parliament elections in Andhra Pradesh are scheduled for April 11th. The results will be out on May 23rd.
