Telangana To Complete 2 Lakh 2BHK Houses By December:- Telangana Government is committed to its promise made in constructing 2BHK houses. Out of the target of 2.72 lakh houses, 2 lakh houses are expected to be completed by the end of December. It was during the Telangana movement, KCR decided to provide houses for the poor right after coming to power in the seperate state of Telangana. Minister for Housing, Endowments and Law Allola Indrakaran Reddy revealed that 2 lakh houses are now ready by December.

"The 2BHK houses each measuring 560 sft are ready for the poor and these would make their lives easier and happy. 1400 houses have been sanctioned in each constituency in Telangana. 1 lakh houses are committed under GHMC limits and the other 1 lakh will fall in the rural areas of Telangana. The government announced that they would supply free sand, subsidized cement and steel, several contractors stepped forward to complete the project" said Indrakaran Reddy.
