Hyderabad To Get UAE Consulate:- The discussion about Hyderabad getting a US Consulate has been on from the past few months. All the decks have now been cleared and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao ordered the Chief Secretary SK Joshi to locate the land and complete all the formalities at the earliest. UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan met Telangana Chief Minister KCR in Pragathi Bhavan last evening. The meeting went on for a hour after which KCR directed the officials for a Consulate in the capital.

Both KCR and Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan felt that the Consulate would strengthen the relations between Telangana and United Arab Emirates. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan also promised of investments by UAE in the coming future. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan enquired about the initiatives and programs about the state government in different fields. KCR explained about the developments and the achievements of the newly formed Telangana. TRS Rajya Sabha member K Keshava Rao, Chief Secretary SK Joshi, CMO Principal Secretary S Narsing Rao attended the meeting.
