RTC Calls Off Strike After KCR Announces Interim Relief:- Telangana Government has been irked after TSRTC unions called for a strike from Monday. The strike has been called off after Telangana Chief Minister KCR agreed for an interim relief of 16% and this would be paid from July 1st this year. Though KCR was not keen on this, he felt that the strike would have a huge impact. Telangana Government revealed that KCR was always keen on strengthening RTC and take care of their employees.

Members of a Cabinet sub-committee met RTC unions to discuss about their demands after which the strike has been called off. Telangana Government also agreed to pay the wages that have been pending during Sakala Janula Samme before the formation of Telangana state. The amounts will be paid in cash immediately. Telangana Mazdoor Union thanked KCR for the support and considering their demands. Etela Rajender, T Harish Rao, K T Rama Rao, P Mahender Reddy and G Jagadish Reddy were present for the discussion.
