I Had To Compromise On Special Status For AP Says Chandra Babu:- AP State is celebrating Nava Nirmana Deeskha across the state and Chandra Babu Naidu, the state's Chief Minister launched Nava Nirmana Deeksha in Vijayawada today. He said that when BJP promised a special package, with nothing much to do he had to compromise on the status.

"I paid a visit 29 times to the national capital and tried my best to convince Narendra Modi and BJP Government in granting special status category for Andhra Pradesh. I explained the situations in the newly formed state and the financial aid that is needed for the state. After they denied special status, I agreed for special package and right after they neglected that too, I decided to walk out of NDA alliance. BJP extended special status to several states ignoring AP".

"Building Amaravati is a real challenge without the support of the Centre. Polavaram project is the future of AP and even after Centre refuses to help the state, we will complete the projects on time" revealed Babu.
