Karnataka Politics: Yeddyurappa Resigns, Congress And JDS To Form The Government:- The Karnataka Assembly polls and results took unexpected turns after no party managed to get complete majority. BS Yeddyurappa took oath as Chief Minister and he has been asked to prove his strength in Assembly after the Supreme Court ordered to go for floor test today. The Assembly sessions started today morning and all the MLAs took oath. BS Yeddyurappa started his speech and in a shocking move he announced that he is resigning as Chief Minister after he failed to get the complete majority.

The floor test has been cancelled and Congress, JDS will now form the government soon. Yeddyurappa will submit his resignation today for the Governor. "Karnataka people blessed us with 104 seats and we emerged as the largest party but could not form the Government. We wanted to serve the people but unfortunately, we haven't got that chance" addressed Yeddyurappa through his speech in the Assembly house. Congress and JDS MLAs haven't moved towards BJP despite of offering huge money. Several phone tapes have been leaked today in which Yeddyurappa too negotiated.
