Congress In Favour Of Special Status For AP Says Rahul Gandhi:- With huge protests going on across the national capital for the Special Status of Andhra Pradesh as promised by the BJP Government during the previous elections, all the opposition parties joined hands at the Parliament street. Even TDP MPs started protesting in the Parliament house and here comes an interesting news. Rahul Gandhi, President of Congress spoke in favour of the Special Category status for AP. "If Congress comes to power, Special Category Status would be our top priority" revealed Rahul Gandhi.

"If we stand together, convincing the Centre is not much difficult as the promise has to be kept. Else, the first thing we will do when we come to power in 2019 is to give the Special status for Andhra Pradesh. I extend my support to all the parties who have fighting for the same" said Rahul Gandhi in his statement. With huge pressure mounting all over, the ruling TDP and their leaders too have been protesting. A committee led by Yanamala Ramakrishnudu met Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley last evening regarding the Special status for Andhra Pradesh.
