Hyderabad Monorail Project: Crucial For IT Corridor:- The Telangana government has been in plans for a monorail project and the proposal has been on from some time. Now the state government appointed a ten members committee to study the feasibility of the project. With the other phases of Hyderabad Metro Rail already in process, the committee will submit a detailed report about the advantages and disadvantages of the monorail. Telangana government has been in plans for an eco-friendly transportation service across the circles of Hi-tech city, Gachibowli and Financial District along with Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad.

A monorail across the urban corridor on the lines of Gurgaon model may work feels Telangana government. The committee will also calculate the budget feasibility along with the economical ways of transport in the suggested region. Senior government officers along with the members of the corporate sector have been named. Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao revealed that they are in plans for easy and comfortable transportation systems considering the vehicular growth in the coming years. Telangana government will take a call once the committee submits the detailed report.
