Chandra Babu's Special Request For Arun Jaitley:- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandra Babu Naidu is unhappy with the contribution of BJP after making it to the power after 2014. Though Babu never expressed them in public meetings, he shared them with his close aides and party leaders. After a brief gap, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself asked Chandra Babu to meet him so that he would grant the funds for the newly formed state.

Now Chandra Babu penned a special letter to Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to fund for several projects in the form of grant through National Bank. This will help the agricultural and rural development in the state instead of taking loans from the agencies.AP government is expected to receive Rs 16,447 crore under Special Assistance Measure (SAM). Babu even clarified that they have sent proposals to all the concerned departments regarding the same. Babu mentioned six projects and the total required funding was Rs 16725 crores. Amaravati Greening Development (Rs 1,484 crore) and AP Backward Area Rural Development Project (Rs 1,000 crore) too have been submitted to the Centre for funding through NABARD.
