Babu Ready To Hand Over Polavaram Project:- AP Chief Minister N Chandra Babu Naidu revealed that the government is ready to hand over the prestigious Polavaram project to the centre if it is willing to take over the construction. He said if the Central government is ready to wrap up the project in the scheduled time, they can step ahead. Babu spoke during the AP Reorganization Act 2014 and he explained about the legal hurdles in wrapping up the Polavaram project. Babu challenged that he is keen on meeeting the deadline of the project.

"I met Union water resources minister Nitin Gadhkari in Nagpur last month and explained him about the situations. Will soon meet him again about the Central government's letter to stop new tenders for some of the parts of Polavaram project. If the centre wants us to stop the tender work, we will do so and hand over the work to them. We spent Rs 12000 crores till date and need Rs 42000 crores. We just want Polavaram project to be completed on time" said Chandra Babu Naidu.
