Revanth Reddy All Set To Take On TRS, Says Telangana Will Prosper In 2019:- Telugu Desam former leader Revanth Reddy and 18 of his associates have joined the Congress yesterday in the presence of the party’s Vice-President Rahul Gandhi. AICC secretary (in-charge) R.C. Kuntia, TPCC chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and others were present on the occasion.

Before coming to power 3.5 years ago, the TRS had promised “Bangaru Telangana”, but it failed to live up to its promises, said Mr. Revanth Reddy later to reporters at the AICC headquarters. For the formation of Telangana, the Congress was responsible and it alone could bring prosperity and development to the state, said Revanth Reddy.

The Congress would sweep the 2019 polls and bring the people of Telangana much-needed relief, hoped Mr. Revanth Reddy. He further slammed TS Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao in failing to address the problems of unemployment and farmers suicides in Telangana.

Mr Gandhi was impressed with the migration of leaders from the TD and the TRS to the Congress, said Mr. Uttam Kumar Reddy. Gandhi earlier, wished to revive and rejuvenate the party before the upcoming polls.
