Although there are only two suspects, there are sketches, as they have been prepared based on different accounts.

“We don’t know anything about them. We want the public to help us,” Singh. The CCTV footage captured showed the suspects with their viser up and we could get the sketch using technology. “We are still verifying the bike, but we know the make. Both the suspects 25-35 years of age.

”If you look at the sketch in Kalburgi case and this, there is a lot of effort. Each sketch took more than 48 hours. Not computer generated,” Singh said answering a specific question on how even the Kalburgi case had sketches but no arrests. Singh further said that we have only been able to eliminate only her professional angle, based on the evidence at hand. The murder had nothing to do with her profession. “All other angle, including personal are still open. Even her life as an activist, for that matter,” Singh said.

When we look at the Kalburgi case, there are similarities and dissimilarities and hence, nothing can be said conclusively.

“We’ve not asked for the cartridges from the other two murders either,” Singh said.
