The failures of the Chandrababu Naidu government     would be highlighted, which is the main aim of the padayatra. Furthermore, Jagan during the Yuva Bheri programme, interacted with students from various institutions. The Yuva bheri programme is aimed at highlighting the importance of Special Category Status (SCS) of the State.

The need for an unrelenting fight to get a special status for AP was stressed by Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy, as the Chief Minister  in all aspects failed to mount pressure on the Centre to accord the status. The fight for special status will not end until it is achieved, said Mr. Reddy. The students issues will be addressed by the YSRC, on a priority basis, assured Jagan.
