Delhi NCR Will Witness No Firecrackers For Diwali:- In a shocking move, the Supreme Court today kept the sale of firecrackers in Delhi NCR. It clearly mentioned that the permissions will come into effect from November 1st which will be two weeks after Diwali. On September 12th, the Supreme Court lifted the ban for time being and it directed the Delhi Police to reduce the number of temporary licenses to half of the existing number. The Supreme Court revealed their concern about the air purity in the national capital.

Supreme Court wanted to assess the quality of air and will take a call in November. Hence Delhi NCR people will not witness any firecrackers this Diwali. The levels of pollution and smoke has been coming high every year because of Diwali. No firecrackers will be sold for this Diwali which falls on October 19th. Though it is a disappointment, the apex court revealed that they are very much concerned about the quality of air and the levels of pollution in the national capital.
