BJP Leader Uma Bharti Refuses To Comment On Reports Of Her Resignation:- Ahead of the cabinet shuffle and expansion that is scheduled for Sunday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Uma Bharti has refused to comment on reports of her resignation. Bharti is currently in charge as the Union Minister for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation.

Bharti took it to twitter and said, “The speculations that have been floating since yesterday in the media - I will not entertain any questions relating to them.”

Meanwhile, Union Minister Sanjeev Balyan has said that he was asked for the resignation and followed the order. He said that he would propagate the party’s campaign in western Uttar Pradesh full time.

Rajiv Pratap Rudy, earlier in the day said that is resignation from the post was the party’s decision and further refuted any strategy behind it. Rajiv resigned from the post of Union Minister of State Skill Development and Entrepreneurship yesterday. “This is a decision by the Prime Minister, the government and the party and we are the soldiers of the party. There is no strategy behind this. I am thankful that I got the opportunity to work for the party and will continue to do this. It is their prerogative,” he told the media. He is expected is expected to be given organizational work.

Yesterday evening, few other leaders also resigned towards a mega cabinet reshuffle, ahead of the 2019 general elections, when Prime Minister Modi will seek a second term. The cabinet shuffle is scheduled to be held before he begins his visit to China to attend the BRICS summit on Sunday.
