Highlights: WOVEN By KTR And Samantha:- Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao has been extremely focused on the state’s development and after an internal study, he decided to allot good amount of budget for weavers and handlooms which has been struggling to survive. Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been roped in as the brand ambassador so that things can be taken into youth easily. The actress too was extremely impressed and delighted for the role and her opportunity. She has been sincerely working without having an impact on her professional commitments.

The actress has an interesting lineup of films and international endorsements. Despite of staying busy, Samantha has been visiting places, interacting with people and collected some decent information about the handlooms. The fashion label WOVEN has been launched last evening on the eve of National Handlooms Day which has been collaborated with the government of Telangana and SVS Partners Limited. The actress revealed that she has been extremely touched with the efforts the weavers put in. She even said that they are not even getting one tenth of their efforts after which WOVEN was planned.

She said “We are in plans to promote handlooms all over and make them affordable for everyone. I thank each and everyone who supported me in this process and I am extremely delighted for this. I thank KTR garu for choosing me after which things changed. I am occupied with enough work however this brings a sheer satisfaction for me”.

KTR said “We have been concentrating on weavers and handlooms from some time. Government of Telangana allotted 10 times more budget than earlier for handlooms. We are in plans to revive them and will work for the weavers. Thank everyone who have been supportive in this process”.
