TS Excise And Enforcement Director Akun Sabarwal Cancels His Leave :Tollywood Drug Mafia:- Telangana Excise and Enforcement Director Akun Sabarwal has canceled his leave in view of the seriousness of the case as per the directions of Telangana Home minister, say sources. He wrote to the Telangana Government asking it to cancel his leave and the Government has immediately agreed to this.

In a strange twist yesterday, hours after the names of top Tollywood celebrities came into the limelight in the drug mafia case, Akun Sabharwal said he was going on a 10-day leave from July 16. Justifying his leave of absence, Akun had clarified that his leave was purely on his personal reasons and it cannot be canceled now. There was no pressure on him from the government to dilute the case, added Sabarwal.

However, there were widespread speculations that Akun’s leave at this critical juncture as a move by the government only to save some biggies involved in the scam.

Netizens also highlighted that on Friday morning Akun told a TV channel that he wanted to go on a mountaineering expedition. An hour later, he said he was going on leave to attend his late mother’s ceremony. Meanwhile, the Congress and the TDP also alleged that the Government was scuttling the investigation to save the biggies.
