YS Jagan Lambasts Chandrababu Naidu Government At Maha Dharna:- At the “Save Visakhapatnam Mahadharna” which was held today in Visakapatnam, Opposition leader and YSR Congress Party President, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy lambasted the Chandrababu Naidu government.
Jagan said the AP CM government in the name of land pooling in the state is only resorting to illegal land grabbing. The Mahadharna was organized by YSRCP and Left parties to protest against the land grabbing scam in Vishakapatnam district. YS Jagan addressing the huge gathering said not a single inch of land will be allowed to be taken by the government from the farmers and the underprivileged sections.
The YSRCP leader said the Vizag land grabbing scam involving 1.06 lakh acres in Vishakapatnam district is the biggest in the history and it happened with the approval of the AP CM N. Chandrababu Naidu and his son Lokesh. He further said among those who are on land grabbing spree are Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, TDP MLAs, MPs and leaders.
Jagan warned that each one involving in illegal land grabbing will be put behind bars and even mentioned that when YSRCP comes to power in 2019, “all the lands will be returned to the legitimate owners”. To withhold poor farmers of their legitimately owned and assigned lands, thousands of revenue records were tampered, said Jagan.
Naidu is trying to get away with an inquiry by a special investigation team which is nothing but an eyewash, said YS Jagan. He warned the TDP by saying that “they have to pay the price for all their illegal activities, as there is only one year left”, further pointing out at the elections. To bring the land grabbers to book, Jagan demanded a CBI inquiry into the scam.
To fight on their behalf to get their lands back, the farmers who lost their lands in Chodavaram, Payakaraopet, Gajuwaka and other areas appealed to urge YS Jagan. The Opposition leader assured total support though. A CBI inquiry into the scam was also demanded by the CPI, CPM and Lok Satta who also participated in the Mahadharna.
