Muslim Bill Has Modi’s Approval: KCR

Muslim Bill Has Modi’s Approval: KCR:- The bill passed by assembly for increasing jobs and education for backward sections of Muslim community to 12% will be sent to centre, said Telangana CM Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

KCR said that he had a word with PM Modi on the promise TRS made during election campaign about the reservations for Muslims. PM Modi asked to send it and promised to look into it positively.

The Telangana CM further added that “If Delhi does not give positive signal for this, we will not sit quiet and will fight, and this is our right.”

About two months back in its special session, the Telangana Assembly passed the bill, increasing the percentage of the reservations to tribal’s and Muslims to 10 and 12% respectively. KCR has emerged as a protagonist of development of Muslims and a refined critic of the BJP and its policies towards minorities.

In 2014, KCR had said that he had addressed 107 election meetings and spoke about the promise to increase the quota of reservations for tribals and Muslims. The TRS ha fought the elections alone without any coalition and formed the government after winning the elections, added Mr. KCR.

KCR said he is only implementing the election promise which has to be appreciated.
