An US based man in Florida has been taken into custody as he tried to set fire to a grocery building which belonged to an Indian based in America. The incident happened just two weeks after the death of Srinivas Kuchibhotla, an Indian techie who lost his life in hate crime. It has been revealed that the 64-year old Richard Lloyd is the man who tried burning the Indian store mistaking it to be Arabs.
After being arrested, he revealed it to the cops saying “will run the Arabs out of the country”. Richard also revealed that he thought that the owner was a Muslim. He has been caught after he lit the dumpster on fire which was lying in front of the store. The number of incidents of hate crime on Indians have been increasing everyday despite of Trump revealing that they will be prevented in future.
