Madras HC Issues Notices to Palaniswami over Trust Vote

Tamil Nadu politics have been taking massive ups and downs after the sudden demise of Jayalalithaa. Things changed ugly after the brat between O Panneerselvam and Sasikala. Finally it was Palaniswami who was asked to take the oath and he is busy engaged with the activities in the state. Here comes a shock after the Madras High Court issued notices to Palaniswami and the state Home Secretary over trust vote.

This happened after a plea submitted by Stalin against the trust vote that took place on February 18th in the state’s Assembly. Madras High Court bench lead by Chief Justice Huluvadi Ramesh issued these notices and asked the government to file the counter affidavit at the earliest and it should happen before March 10th. Stalin compared the trust vote to be inappropriate and null.
